So many of the cupcakes I do require cream cheese frosting! I use this recipe all the time, it tastes amazing and looks gorgeous on any cupcake!
-8 ounces of cream cheese
-2 sticks of butter
-1 teaspoon of vanilla
-4 cups of confectioners sugar
Step 1: Cream together the softened cream cheese and butter. Once it is fully creamed add in the vanilla.
Step 2: Slowly mix in the 4 cups of confectioners sugar. And wah-laa! Your frosting is complete!
*Quick tip! It is better to use the boxed confectioners sugar rather than the ones that come in the bag. When you use the sugar from the bag it tends to have to much moister inside which will cause the frosting to clump and not be smooth.
