I also made Ice Cream Cone Cake Pops a couple years ago which came out so darling! Those are a little harder to make but turn out stunning! I have a video tutorial on those if you would like to try those as well!

SUPPLIES
- Ice cream cones
- Cupcake batter (I have many recipes on my YouTube channel or you can use a box mix)
- Frosting (I suggest using buttercream frosting)
- Red & green fondant
- Sprinkles
- Piping bag & 1M tip
PREHEAT oven to 350ºF
STAND the ice cream cones in a cupcake tin or a large aluminum sheet like I did. Using an ice cream scoop, add the cupcake batter into the cone. The batter should come to the top of the neck of the ice cream cone.
BAKE for 20 minutes or place a tooth pick in the center of the cake, if it comes out clean they are done. Let cool completely before decorating.
MAKES about 30 cupcake cones
PREPARE the piping bag and place the frosting inside. Hold the piping bag straight, pipe around the cupcake working your way up and in.
ROLL the red fondant into a ball to look like a cherry and make a stem using the green fondant. Although cherries have more of a brown stem the little girls wanted to use green because it looks "cuter" hehe! Place the cherry on the cupcake and top it off with some sprinkles!
STORE these cupcakes with some plastic wrap lightly on top, if you wrap these tight they will get soggy and lose their shape!
I think this is a great idea for a kids birthday party, they will love decorating them! Here are some photos of the girl's cupcakes they decorated!
